Moonshots Bingo

Moonshots Bingo · a fan game

Call the panel before they say it.

Build a 5×5 card of things the Moonshots panel might say. When the next episode drops, the transcript scores it — rare picks are worth more.

Episode 1 is open for cards.

How the points work

Rare picks pay more

A square is worth more the less often the panel actually says it. “Dyson swarm” turns up in most episodes, so it pays little. Something they have said twice in two years pays a lot.

Measured, not guessed

We transcribe the last 25 episodes and count how many of them each phrase appears in. That count sets the points. Nobody sits down and decides a tile feels rare.

The board moves

Every scored episode shifts the window forward, so a phrase the panel picks up gets cheaper and one they drop gets dearer. Your card is priced when the episode freezes.

Tiles are banded by what they pay: Staple, Common, Occasional, Rare, Very rare, and Moonshot for a phrase that has not come up in the whole window.

How it works

Step 1

Build your card

Draw a 5×5 card of things the panel might say. Rarer picks are worth more points.

Step 2

The episode drops

Cards lock the moment the episode publishes — no late edits make it in. Lock yours in early if you're already happy with it.

Step 3

The transcript scores it

We run the transcript against every card and post the results.
